Measure straight across hip, from side fold to side fold, 22cm(8 1/2”) below waistband seam.

  1. Hip/Seat- men’s, boys’ and girls’

Boys’ and Girls’ :Measure across hip about 6cm(2 1/2”)above crotch.

Men’s: Measure across hip about 8cm(3”) above crotch.

Lay leg flat, then measure straight across at top of leg, from side fold at inseam to side fold at outseam.

  1. Knee

Measure as No. 6 “thigh” but at the following locations below the crotch seam:

However, garments may have knitted cuffs to reasonably tightly fit the wrists. Measure from edge to edge in relaxed and also stretched condition.

  1. Sleeve Length from center back neck

Establish center back neck. Then measure from this point across shoulder and down sleeve to end of cuff.

  1. Sleeve Length from shoulder

  1. Sleeve Length from side of neck

Measure from neck seam, at shoulder seam join, across shoulder and down sleeve to edge of cuff.

  1. Shoulder Width

Measure from neck seam to sleeve inset-seam.

  1. Neck Circumference

Measure from center back neck to front centre along neck line. But some markers/designers/importers measure neck width from side fold of neck to the opposite side fold of neck for easier operating.
