Why shoud do Garments Fitting Test?

Serial defects in the garment construction which affects the fit is likely to have serious commercial and financial consequences. Such deficiencies are often neither defected during random size measuring nor the usual random workmanship and make inspection.

Garments Fitting Test

Following are some of the garment defects that may not be detected in garment inspection on a table but may be noticed by either form fitting or live modelling:

  • Unsymmetrical collar or uneven collar or misaligned collar or collar with poor balance
  • Misaligned or crooked pockets
  • Twisted pant leg
  • Hiking at front or ack of the outerwear
  • Uneven hemline or high-low from side to side
  • Uneven at back vent or front closure in outerwear
  • Scissoring at front or back in outerwear
  • Uneven front closure and fullness or gaps at fly or waistband
  • Poor shoulder slope causing tautness and puckering down from collar joint
  • One or both sleeve hanging backward
  • Puckering at crotch
  • Misaligned buttons and buttonholes causing gaps
