- Intarsia patterns must be in correct shape, colour and position
- Patterns of intarsia must have same sized loops as base fabric
- Intarsia patterns must be colourfast
- All strands ends must be on the back side of garments
- Intarsia patterns must be well fixed, lie flat, not pucker nor bubble
- Intarsia patterns must be stabilized. All around the edges must be sharp, no mistaken needles
