Garments Needle Inspection
- The correct needle size must be used for all seams when considering to select needles.
- Ball point needles must be used when sewing knitted fabrics.
Garments Thread Inspection
Sewing threads should be used for all seams, but monofilament thread should not be used except under special circumstances.
- Thread must be colourfast. Therefore Its colour should not transfer to fabric while they are contrast, and should not be lighter than the fabric in principal while they are matching.
- Thread must compatible with fabric. Elastic thread is for elastic fabric and non-elastic thread is for non-elastic fabric.
- Thread must be trimmed.
