Hoe het uiterlijk van het kledingstuk te inspecteren?
Inspectie van het uiterlijk van een kledingstuk is de inspectie van het algemene uiterlijk van een soort kledingstuk. Het is de eerste stapinspectie voor een zending en daarom is het bijna de belangrijkste. Het uiterlijk van een kledingstuk geeft het algemene idee weer van een zending of deze goed genoeg of slecht is. Het heeft grote invloed op het oordeel over de zending, uiteraard het algemene resultaat. Er mag dus niets ontbreken bij de keuring.
Het uiterlijk van het kledingstuk moet overeenkomen met het beschikbare typemonster, of ontwerpspecificatie. A finished reference sample is the best way to compare with. Echter, in more occasions such a finished sample is not available except for fabric swatches or trims.
Garment appearance inspection in all respects such as
- Fabric quality of weight, construction, feel etc.
- Colours
- Style
- Applique, intarsia, darts, prints, embroidery where applicable
- Components/accessories/trims
- Metingen
- Make-up
The general appearance must be symmetrical and clean. While all parts of the garments must serve the intended purpose.
- Facings
Must be kept deep enough to prevent rolling out and showing on front side.
- Front edges
Must meet within 1cm at hem.
- Stripe/plaid match
All centre front and centre back seems must match.
- Fabric defects/shading
No visible fabric defects or damages are allowed nor hidden defects which reduce fabric/garment solidity.
No shading is allowed within the same garment nor garment sets/coordinates.
The fabric construction must not be biased, i.e. also after washing the fabric, garment must not be distorted.
