The type of stitching must be as per approved sample, je treba upoštevati videz oblačila, in pri šivanju zgornjega dela šiva na sprednji del oblačila. Gostota šivov mora biti v skladu s specifikacijami oblačil.
Šivi na elastičnem materialu morajo biti vzdržljivi do največjega raztezanja, ne da bi se zlomili.
The minimum number of stitches per cm should be:
Lockstitch 5 stitches per cm(4 stitches per cm for Jeans)
Chain 5 stitches per cm(4 stitches per cm for Jeans)
Overlock 5 stitches per cm
Safety stitch 5 stitches per cm
Blind stitch 3 stitches per cm
2 Needle Chain stitch 5 stitches per cm(4 stitches per cm for Jeans)
Zigzag 6 stitches per cm
