Aplikacija, kilęs iš prancūzų kalbos, the meaning is applied. Kitaip tariant, „Applique“ galite apibrėžti kaip taikomą dalyką. Aplikacija yra paplitusi tiek drabužių, tiek keramikos dizaine. Drabužių pramonėje, tai siuvimo technika, kai audinio lopai sluoksniuojami ant pagrindo audinio, tada susiuvama į vietą rankomis arba mašina, kai neapdoroti kraštai apverčiami arba padengiami dekoratyvinėmis siūlėmis. Applique garments inspection
- Appliques must be in correct material, shape, colour and position.
- Appliques must have same shrinkage as base fabric.
- Appliques must be colourfast.
- The stitches around the appliques must be even and good.
- Appliques must be well fixed, lie flat, not pucker nor bubble.
- Appliques must be stabilized in knitwear if applicable.
