Millal teha lõplik pisteline kontroll?

See toimub tootmise tipus. Kogu veose kogus peaks olema valmis ja proovivõtu jaoks pakutav. Pakkimist peaks olema peaaegu (vähemalt 80%) done, in order that the cartons are counted.

This is often not ideal for many reasons:

• The buyer has no time to review the report and askinquiries to the check firm or the provider.
  • The inspector solely has time to write down a non-official report (handwritten and while not photos), thus misunderstandings will occur.
  • In several cases, importers simply tell their suppliers “you ship if the QC report is passed”. And they can’t be reached in time for a call. This puts plenty of pressure on the manufactory and also the inspector. And what to try and do if the report is failed? Or if one thing sudden is found which may be unacceptable by the buyer?
  • If some quality problems are noticed , the manufactory won’t even have a number of hours to try and do a fast repairing!

This is why we usually advise to line the final inspection a minimum of a pair of days before ex-factory date (nt. on Mon if the ex-factory date is on Wednesday).

Some importers take additional precautions: they provoke final inspections a minimum of a pair of weeks before cargo date, to go away area for potential re-work and re-inspections.
