- Bust or Chest
Measure straight across chest, díreach faoi bhun armhole, ón taobhfhilleadh go dtí an taobh eile fillte. Bí cinnte pleat lár an chúl a leathnú sula ndéantar é a thomhas. Tomhaiseann roinnt marcóirí / dearthóirí / allmhaireoirí 1 orlach faoi armhole.
- Waist
Measure straight across waist, ag pointe is cúinge, ón taobhfhilleadh go dtí an taobh eile fillte.
- Hem or Sweep or Bottom
Measure straight across sweep/hem/bottom from side fold to side fold.
- Across Chest
Tomhais ó seam armhole go seam armhole ag an bpointe is cúinge.
- Garment length
Measure from high pint of shoulder to bottom hem.
- Armhole
Measure from natural fold at shoulder along sleeve seam to bottom of armhole seam. But some inspectors measure straight across sleeve top to bottom of armhole binding( lowest point). So need to be specified it is curved way or straight way.
- Shoulder width
Measure from neck opening edge to armhole top edge.
- Shoulder
Measure across shoulder from armhole seam to armhole seam at natural fold.
- Across back
Measure from armhole seam to armhole seam at narrowest point or at line of yoke.
- Center back length
Measure from neck seam down centre back to bottom of garment.
- Side length
Lay side of garment flat. Measure from bottom of armhole to bottom of side seam where tail starts. On straight bottom shirts to bottom hem.
- Neck Circumference
Measure from center back neck to front fold following neck line. Some markers/designers/importers measure neck width from side fold of neck to the opposite side fold of neck for easier operating.
