First of all, we should know how it is made, what processes involved when produce a fishing face mask. We start it from knitted grey fabric. If we start from yarn, it will be much longer. Then we know what are the common problems in the making process and how we can avoid them.

Making a fishing mask usually takes below steps, so as the fishing face mask quality control. Therefore I have also list the common issues in these steps.

  1. Printing of fabric

Most of fishing face masks are made of digital submission fabric, so for the fabric quality control, the qc must focus on printing faults, such as off shade, or missing printing etc.

  1. Anti-UV finish

the printed fabric goes to do anti-UV finish, the effect must be test through a lab.

  1. Cutting

Cutting usually does not cause any problem, if it does not have a mistake.

  1. Logo print

Then it goes to another printing factory or workshop to print, this time is screen printing for brand or client’s logo. The logo printing must ensure such printing defects as fuzzy pattern or off-register does not happen.

  1. Air holes punching

Then the panel goes to for laser punching for breathing holes. As the materials are all synthetic materials, only laser punching can ensure it will not unravel.

  1. Sewing

Lastly, it is sewn in the factory, which includes hemming with lockstitch and joint stitching. The QC should check all stitches are secure and even.
