Garments Pockets Inspection

Garments Pockets Inspection is the quality control inspection to pockets that makes good quality garments. So it is a step to QC systems.

There are two basic types of pockets for garments, with many variations within the two basic styles: Patch Pockets and Inside Pockets. Patch pocket is as named added as patch on the outside of the garment, while inside pockets are as well, mostly inside a garment. However, They have at least one of the purposes of function and decoration.

Garments Pockets Inspection

  • All pockets must be evenly aligned, No puckering nor bubbling.
  • Functional pockets must have sufficient depth for hand.
  • Functional Pockets must have sufficient opening for hand.
  • Pockets must be reinforced and bar-tacked at upper corners or inside seams.
  • Paired pockets must be symmetrical in the shape, size and fabric design.
