Stitching criteria of Garments
The type of stitching must be as per approved sample, must consider the appearance of garment, and put the top stitching on front of garment in principal when make process plan. The density of stitching must be as per Garment Specifications.
Stitching on elastic material must resist to maximum extension without breaking.
The minimum number of stitches per cm should be:
Lockstitch 5 stitches per cm(4 stitches per cm for Jeans)
Chain 5 stitches per cm(4 stitches per cm for Jeans)
Overlock 5 stitches per cm
Safety stitch 5 stitches per cm
Blind stitch 3 stitches per cm
2 Needle Chain stitch 5 stitches per cm(4 stitches per cm for Jeans)
Zigzag 6 stitches per cm
