In-process Quality Control

What is the in-process quality control?

“In-process quality control” takes place thought the process of fabric products, garment products, or other products. This is also often referenced as “inline” inspections. As opposed to simply doing inspections after the completion of manufacturing.

One of the keys to manufacturing good quality products is an in-process quality control program. Although it is possible to control your outgoing quality with a good final inspection, it is NOT recommended to simply rely on that way. Unless you have an effective in-process quality control program, your cost of repairs may be high. It’s much more effective to correct the problem at the operator level, then once the garment is totally assembled, pressed, packages and ready for shipping. Being able to deliver your products on time is vital to your customers. Good in-process quality control ensures that the final inspection runs smoothly and allows for delivery on time.

You definitely do not want to learn in your final inspection concerning problems that would have simply been fixed if detected earlier. The primary purpose of the in-process quality control is to identify problems as early as possible. A problem is also caused by the operator, the machine, or other factors. The inline inspection will help you find specific problems in manufacturing process. The only way to fix a problem is to find the problem. It is important to find errors as quickly as possible so that they can be corrected as fast as possible.
